Terms of Service & Usage Policy
The Reformed Business Alliance

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and listing a business in The Reformed Business Alliance (“Directory”), you (“User”) agree to abide by the following Terms of Service and Usage Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not create an account or list a business within The Reformed Business Alliance. By registering for an account, you also consent to receive periodic email communications, including marketing messages, updates, and platform-related notifications from The Reformed Business Alliance. You may unsubscribe at any time, though doing so may limit your access to certain features or updates related to your listing or membership.

2. Public Access & Membership Requirements

The Reformed Business Alliance is freely accessible to the public for browsing and searching business listings. However, all business listings and associated accounts must be owned and managed by individuals who affirm and adhere to Reformed Christian beliefs.

3. Content Standards

Users agree to the following content guidelines:

  • No listings or content may contain sexual or inappropriate material, including but not limited to any content promoting extramarital sex.

  • No listings or content may promote any material, behavior, morality, or ethics that are explicitly unchristian or out of alignment with a plain and honest reading of Scripture.

  • The Reformed Business Alliance reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether submitted content aligns with these standards.

4. Administrative Rights

The administrators of The Reformed Business Alliance retain full discretion to manage listings, including but not limited to the right to:

  • Approve or deny any submitted business listing.

  • Edit or modify listing content for clarity, compliance, or presentation purposes.

    • Make adjustments to listing content for aesthetic consistency across the platform. In doing so, administrators may supplement or correct information using publicly available content from the business’s online presence, such as its official website, social media profiles, or other publicly accessible sources.

  • Remove or delete listings that violate this policy or for any other reason deemed necessary by the administrators.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds for paid business listings are only issued under the following conditions:

  • The account is less than one (1) month old.

  • The user submits a request to cancel their account and delete their business listing within the first month of registration.

  • No refunds will be issued for accounts older than one (1) month or for partial months of service.

6. Amendments & Updates

The Reformed Business Alliance reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Directory constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

8. Additional Terms for Business Listings

  • Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their business listings.

  • Listings must not contain false or misleading information.

  • Businesses must operate in accordance with ethical business practices and biblical principles.

  • Unauthorized commercial solicitation, spam, or excessive self-promotion is prohibited.

  • Users may not impersonate another business or falsely claim affiliation with another entity.

  • The Reformed Business Alliance is not responsible for any disputes between businesses and consumers arising from listings on the Directory.

  • The Directory does not guarantee any level of exposure, visibility, or traffic to business listings.

  • Users with accounts allowing for more than one listing are prohibited from featuring the same business multiple times. Failure to comply may result in account suspension, deletion, and/or listing removal.

  • Failure to comply with these terms may result in the suspension or removal of a listing without notice or refund.

9. Reporting Problematic Listings

Users agree to report any problematic listings using the built-in reporting function. The Reformed Business Alliance team will review all reported listings and retain sole decision-making power on whether the listing is changed, deleted, moved into a draft state, or left as is.

10. Data Usage Policy

  • Users retain ownership of all data they provide to the platform.

  • By submitting content to the Directory, users grant The Reformed Business Alliance permission to use any data on the platform for research, analytics, and marketing purposes.

  • The Reformed Business Alliance will not sell user data to any outside vendors.

  • Users grant The Reformed Business Alliance permission to use any content provided by the user for promotional and marketing purposes. The Reformed Business Alliance strongly recommends that users do not submit any personal or private information, as this directory is meant for use by the public. The Reformed Business Alliance will not be held responsible for how any public information is used by viewers or other users of the platform.

  • Any data collected by third-party tools, technologies, plugins, or vendors is not subject to this policy and is managed by their respective owners.

11. Liability Disclaimer

  • The Reformed Business Alliance does not verify the accuracy, legitimacy, or quality of the businesses listed in the directory. Users browse and engage with listed businesses at their own discretion and risk.

  • The Reformed Business Alliance is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or disputes that may arise from interactions between users and businesses listed in the directory.

12. Account Suspension & Termination Policy

  • The Reformed Business Alliance reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account at its discretion if a user violates these terms or engages in behavior that is harmful to the integrity of the platform.

  • Users whose accounts are terminated for policy violations will not be eligible for refunds.

13. Indemnification Clause

  • Users agree to indemnify and hold The Reformed Business Alliance harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, legal fees, or disputes arising from their use of the directory.

14. Terms of Service Updates

The Reformed Business Alliance reserves the right to update these Terms of Service as needed. Continued use of the Directory constitutes agreement to any modified terms.

15. Affiliate Disclaimer

Users and visitors of the Directory may occasionally encounter links to products and services that The Reformed Business Alliance references, uses, or recommends.

  • These affiliate links do not increase the cost to the buyer.

  • If a user purchases a product through an affiliate link, The Reformed Business Alliance may receive a small commission.

  • Any recommendations made through affiliate links are based on the platform’s experience and use of the products or services.
