About Us
It all started on November 22, 2022
While driving and listening to RC Sproul’s Renewing Your Mind podcast on limited atonement, RBA founder Brenton Riling had a sudden breakthrough: he embraced all five points of TULIP. That moment ignited a pursuit of deeper doctrine and eventually led him to the Dominion Mandate in Genesis 1:28.
Confronted by a country fractured by secular egalitarianism and a modern church often adrift, Brenton felt a compelling conviction to obey Christ’s call—to play a role in the great commission.

Brenton Riling and Caleb Stevens founded Appalachia Digital with a shared vision: to build high-impact digital solutions that help Christian-owned businesses not just survive—but dominate—in an increasingly competitive online marketplace. With Caleb’s deep technical expertise as a full-stack developer and Brenton’s strategic focus on SEO and marketing, they quickly discovered a unique niche: empowering Christian entrepreneurs with web strategies that deliver real, measurable results. In many cases, their work doubled or even tripled their clients’ online sales.
“It is dominion we are after. Not just a voice, not just influence, not just equal time. It is dominion we are after.”
– Douglas Wilson
As their business grew, so did Brenton’s theological convictions—particularly around Christian Maximalism and the Dominion Mandate of Genesis 1:28. He began to recognize the early signs of something bigger: Reformed men beginning to take economic dominion seriously. Business was no longer just about provision; it was about mission, legacy, and obedience to Christ’s command to disciple the nations.
It was in this context that the vision for The Reformed Business Alliance took shape—perhaps providentially. Brenton imagined an economic hub: a place where Reformed and confessional Christians could find, support, and collaborate with one another in business. A platform not only for visibility but for dominion—for building lasting, multi-generational enterprises that reflect biblical values, honor Christ, and serve the world with excellence.
That vision became reality in The Reformed Business Alliance: a growing directory and community of Reformed business owners committed to mutual support, collaboration, and marketplace excellence—for the glory of God alone.
